Description/Background:
On May 21, 2024 Council Member Dekeyzer held a first reading on the Community Renewable Energy Program (CREP) where the CREP Agency presented an overview of the program. Since that time the Agency Board has adopted a process, in compliance wit the Community Renewable Energy Act, for additional communities to participate in the program. Please review the attached memorandum and exhibits for additional information.
Further action to be taken:
Participation will require the City to complete various tasks, outlined in the attached Resolution, prior to August 31, 2024.
