Description/Background:
The RDA has been acquiring property over several years near the city's Scott Cowdell Park and adjacent to 90th South, with the intent to create new housing opportunities near the Historic Sandy Trax Station. The city has adopted station area plan for each of our transit stations within our jurisdiction, which were part of the city's Pace of Progress General Plan. Staff has prepared a conceptual site plan for the redevelopment of these parcels of land that are owned by Sandy City, RDA, and some unused city street right-of-way to show how this land and park could be redeveloped. This conceptual site plan and the background associated with the station area plan are presented in the attachments.
