Public Hearing: Disposal of Surplus Property at 8855 South Harvard Park Drive

Description/Background:
There are two City-owned parcels in the Quarry Bend area. The first parcel has been controlled by Public Utilities and used to form part of the Sandy Canal, which is no longer in use. The second parcel was used for the Harvard Park Drive roadway. Both parcels have no remaining use to the City. The City is currently maintaining both parcels. The disposition includes a “swap” for water rights in the Sandy Irrigation Company. Additional details and relevant map are attached.
Fiscal Impact:
At this moment the anticipated proposal would be revenue neutral.
Recommended Action and/or Suggested Motion:
This is not a voting item and does not require council action. This evening the council will hold a public hearing on the disposal of the property.
