City Council Street Intersection Tour  
Stop 1: Roundabout at 2300 E Bengal Blvd. Cottonwood Heights, UT  
(Approximately 4:35 - 4:50 PM)  
Stop 2: Signaled intersection at 9400 S Sandy Parkway, Sandy, UT (This  
stop is time permitting)  
Residents interested in attending the tour can meet the council at the tour  
stops.  
Council participated in a tour coordinated by the Public Works Department and visited the  
roundabout located at 2300 Bengal Blvd in Cottonwood Heights. The purpose of the tour  
was to observe a successful roundabout. During the visit, the Public Works staff reviewed  
with the Council the design, operation, and benefits of the roundabout to better  
understand its potential application in Sandy City. Based on this review, there is a  
possibility that a similar roundabout could be considered for the intersection of 110th  
South and 10th East near Alta High School.

Department Heads presented their FY 2027 proposed budgets to the Council.  
Parks and Recreation Director Ben Hill presented the Parks and Recreation Tentative  
Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-27. Council questions occurred during his presentation.  
Deputy CAO Martin Jensen presented the City Administration  
(CAO/Mayor/Communications) Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-27. Council  
questions occurred during his presentation.  
Community Arts Director Mearle Marsh presented the Sandy Arts Guild and  
Amphitheater Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-27. Council questions occurred  
during his presentation.  
City Attorney Lynn Pace presented the Legal Department Tentative Budget for Fiscal  
Year 2026-27. Council questions occurred during his presentation.  
Judge Paul Farr and Court Manger Amy Carlton presented the Justice Court Tentative  
Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-27. Council questions occurred during his presentation.  
Council Director Dustin Fratto presented the City Council. Office Tentative Budget for  
Fiscal Year 2026-27. Council questions occurred during his presentation.  
Administrative Services Director, Brian Kelley also answered questions from the Council  
for each presentation.

Agenda Planning Calendar Review & Council Office Director's Report  
Dustin Fratto, Council Executive Director reminded the Council of the Noal Bateman  
award application timeline and updated them on the council chambers remodel.  
Council Member Business  
Council Member Cyndi Sharkey thanked the Parks & Recreation Department for holding  
the beam signing event. She also thanked the Police Department for holding the recent  
swearing in ceremony. The Council hosted Canyons School District Officials, State  
Representatives and Mayors and City Council Members from neighboring cities at the  
recent Real Salt Lake game. It was a great event.  
Council Member Alison Stroud commented on the SEG announcement. She thanked  
Chief Nigbur for providing so much information to the Council. She provided an update  
from the Historic Committee meeting.
