Description/Background:
Many local police departments including The Sandy City Police Department partner with the U.S. Marshal's Service Violent Fugitive Apprehension Team (VFAST) to seek out and arrest Utah's most wanted and dangerous fugitives. This year the Sandy City Police Department has been selected by the U.S. Marshal's Service as the Agency of the Year for the District of Utah.
