Description/Background:
Please see the attached memorandum, response, proposed compliance schedule, and warning letter from the Utah Division of Environmental Quality regarding the Sandy City Bulk Waste Collection Program.
Further action to be taken:
At this point, the Public Utilities Department is seeking questions and recommendations from the Council concerning the letter of response, proposed compliance schedule, and warning letter.
Further decisions and action will be required by the Council as the City moves through the proposed compliance schedule over the next 11 months.
