Description/Background:
The City Council's agreement with Cowdell & Woolley expires on December 31, 2019. Staff recommends that the contract be extended for a six-month period. This short extension will provide the Council time to consider whether it still desires outside legal services, and if so, whether any changes to the structure of the contract are warranted.
Fiscal Impact:
There is no cost in having the contract in place. Costs are only incurred if a Council Member requests legal services.

Chair to execute agreement if approved.
