Description/Background:
During Council Member Business on a previous agenda, the Council heard a suggestion from Council Member Fairbanks about bringing together a budget review committee consisting of select people who expressed interest in such an effort at the August 13, 2019 Truth in Taxation hearing. The idea was also considered to utilize a previously existing mayoral focus group.
Further action to be taken:
Council Member Fairbanks to work with Council Office and Finance staff to determine volunteer interest and convene budget review committee.
