Description/Background:
On September 22, 2017 the City Council Office coordinated an alternative transportation tour. Participants included two Sandy City Council Members, a Salt Lake County Council Member, the Mayor of Draper, Sandy City staff, a representative from UTA, a representative from Wasatch Front Regional Council, and two Sandy residents. Some participants rode eBikes rented by the Council Office, while others rode conventional bikes. The group traveled from the South Jordan FrontRunner station down the Jordan River Parkway to Lehi where it met two Lehi City Council Members at the Harvest Restaurant in Thanksgiving Point for dinner. Following dinner, the group caught the FrontRunner back to the South Jordan station.
