Description/Background:
Due to unforseen scheduling requirements and the need for additional time to complete agenda items tentatively planned for the April 4, 2017 City Council agenda, all items previously planned for that date have been postponed. There are no agenda items ready for consideration on that date, and staff recommends that the meeting be canceled.
Cancelation of a regularly scheduled meeting is an amendment to the annual meeting schedule. Amending the annual schedule requires formal action of the City Council and is traditionally done through a resolution.
A special meeting for March 31, 2017 at 12 PM was called for the exclusive consideration of this resolution. The order for the special meeting was unanimously joined by all Council Members and the Mayor. A copy of the order is on file with the City Recorder.

No fiscal impact associated with this item.
Further action to be taken:
Council staff will amend the website and other meeting notification means announcing the cancelation.
