Description/Background:
On January 31, 2017 the City Council conducted a public hearing on a request from Mr. David George to rezone approximately 3.68 acres from the R-1-20A Single Family Residential District to PUD(18) Planned Unit Development. The City Council denied the rezone request.
Mr. George is now requesting to rezone the subject property from the R-1-20A Single Family Residential District to the PUD(12) Planned Unit Development or the RM(12) Multi-Family Residential District. The resulting application of zoning would allow for a PUD or RM subdivision of the property creating approximately 60 housing units.
Mr. George has requested time in a Council Work Session to discuss his request.
Further action to be taken:
Should Mr. George proceed following the Work Session discussion, the application will be processed by staff, and public hearings will be conducted with the Planning Commission and City Council.
