Description/Background:
On September 29, 2015 the City Council adopted a Long Term Financial Plan policy. On November 17, 2015 the Finance Department presented the Long Term Financial Analysis to the City Council. Although the policy only requires the Administration to review the Long Term Financial Analysis with the City Council, "at least annually, preferably during the time between the closing of the prior year's books and the commencement of the next year's budget," the Finance Department has updated the Analysis to reflect the FY 2016-17 Tentative Budget and will discuss the results with the City Council to aid further budget review.
