Description/Background:

The City has been exploring the acquisition of additional space to address current needs.  As a result the City has begun the process of purchasing the "Arbor Building," located adjacent to City Hall.  Throughout due diligence many questions have been raised by the council and administration. This evening the intention is to report on and answer some of those questions in order to determine how best to move forward.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Arbor Building Cost: $12,000,000.00

 

Further action to be taken:

Once all necessary questions have been addressed, and if the council directs the city to move forward, the bonding process will need to be completed.
