Description/Background:

Former Salt Lake County Council member Jim Bradley served Salt Lake County for 28 years implementing some significant protections and important projects to benefit the community at large and Sandy City. The Sandy City Mayor and Council recognize him for his work and dedication to protect the foothills and canyons in our beautiful city and preserve the 630-acre Dimple Dell Park, keeping it in its natural state. Council Member Bradley has successfully promoted arts and culture in our county which has enhanced arts and parks throughout Sandy City.

 

Former Council member Bradley served with a friendly, approachable demeanor and a cheerleader for others, including the under-represented. he has been unafraid to expend political capital for the good in the community. We recognize him for his unwavering commitment to protect our natural environment and preserve important programs and processes fundamental to our community culture while maintaining positive healthy relationships with his constituents and colleagues at all levels of government.
