Description/Background:
Sandy City kicked off the process to update the City's General Plan in the fall of 2022. The project is nearing completion. The purpose of this agenda item is to present information regarding specific aspects related to finalizing a draft of the General Plan and receive input from the City Council, Administration, and Planning Commission regarding those items. Y2 Analytics will provide a summary of the results of the third and final survey for the project. GSBS will introduce some of the proposed land use and growth management tools, such as drafts of the future land use map, land use designation dashboards, and the annexation map. Input provided at the meeting will be incorporated into a full draft of the document, which will be presented at a later date.
