Description/Background:
The attached draft ordinance amends the prohibited activities section of Chapter 13-11 "City Parks" of the municipal code. The amendment adds the following to prohibited activities:
1. Continuing use of a park facility if another individual has reserved it.
2. Continuing use of a park facility if the City has scheduled it's use.
3. Continuing use of a park facility more than one hour after knowing that another person is waiting to use that same facility.
4. Using a park facility for pay or compensation without City approval.
Further action to be taken:
This is an informational report. After Council review and/or amendment to the attached draft ordinance, it will be brought back during a business session for possible adoption.
