Description/Background:
The Community Development Department has worked with Y2 Analytics to prepare a draft of the second survey associated with the General Plan update process. Sandy City has an agreement with Y2 Analytics to conduct three surveys throughout the General Plan project. The first survey was conducted early in 2023, and results were presented to the City Council as part of a presentation on April 11, 2023. The first survey gathered preliminary input from residents. The second survey intends to delve deeper into responses from the first survey, better understand community values, and begins to test broad strategies. Staff from the Community Development Department and representatives from Y2 Analytics will be presenting the current draft of the survey in order to receive input from the City Council prior to the release of the survey.
