Body

Description/Background:

Council Members Marci Houseman and Brooke D'Sousa (alternate) along with Council Staff Member Liz Theriault are bringing forward Angie Peffer and Patricia Thompson as their selections for the Sandy Service Ambassadors Program.

We were tasked with reviewing resident applications and selecting two applicants to be resident representatives. While reviewing the applications, we considered experience, time in Sandy, interest in the program, and other factors. We feel Ms. Peffer and Ms.Thompson will bring valuable perspectives to the program, and that their time in Sandy, backgrounds, and unique community connections will help the program achieve its goals.

The Council may use this time to ask questions of both Ms. Peffer and Ms. Thompson regarding their application and nomination to the program.

We are looking for a vote that provides Council endorsement of Ms. Peffer and Ms. Thompson as the liaisons' selections for resident representatives.

Recommended Action and/or Suggested Motion:

Recommendation

Motion to endorse Angie Peffer and Patricia Thompson as resident representatives for the Sandy Service Ambassadors as selected by the Council Liaisons.
