Description/Background:
This proposed Council Policy is intended to outline a process for appointing council members to serve on committees, boards, and commissions. Please review the attached draft policy. The policy is not intended to impact appointments for calendar year 2024, but instead to impact appointments beginning in calendar year 2025.
Further action to be taken:
This is a first reading and no formal council action is required. Council Member Mecham may bring back for a second reading a final version of the attached draft policy for formal council consideration and possible adoption during a future council meeting. Tonight, Council Member Mecham is looking for questions and feedback on the proposed draft policy from the Council body.
