Description/Background:
Vision Zero is a strategy to eliminate traffic fatalities and severe injuries by engaging in proactive planning, seeking out high-level, ongoing engagement, and focusing on system-wide practices to lessen the severity of crashes. Salt Lake City recently adopted the Vision Zero Program. Their Transportation Division Director will present an overview of the program and speak to Salt Lake City's experience with the program thus far.
