Description/Background:
Sandy City is currently in the process of creating a time capsule to be sealed and buried during the 2023 Heritage Festival. The capsule is to be sealed for 100 years, until it is opened in the year 2123.
Every department is contributing commemorative materials, documents, and photos that are of significance to their department. For the City Council's contribution, Council Office staff have put together this Resolution of Recognition, recognizing over 100 years of resolutions and ordinances passed throughout the years by the various City Councils of Sandy City's history. These resolutions and ordinances have been selected for their role in shaping the Sandy City that we know and love today.
