Description/Background:
On behalf of Sandy City, the Public Works Department is proposing amendments to portions of the Sandy City Standard Specifications & Details for Municipal Construction. Many of the changes are related to the water efficient landscaping code amendments, but the proposal also includes other general updates to the standard specifications and details. The proposed updates are described in Exhibit D, and the specific updates are presented in Exhibit E. See also the staff report under agenda item CA04182022-0006307 (PC).

Recommended Action and/or Suggested Motion:
Recommendation
The Community Development Department requests that the Planning Commission forward a positive recommendation to the City Council to adopt the proposed updates to the Sandy City Standard Specifications and Details for Municipal Construction by ordinance as shown in Exhibit “E”, based on the following findings:
1. The proposal implements water efficient landscaping standards, consistent with current State Code, the Central Utah Water Conservation District, and the Sandy City Land Development Code.
