Description/Background:

On July 25, 2023 the City Council adopted Resolution 23-38C, calling a special bond election to be held on November 21, 2023 for the purpose of submitting a proposition to the voters regarding the issuance of general obligation bonds to finance the construction and equipping of a fire station. On October 3, 2023 the Council held a public hearing on this matter. This evening the Council will hold a public meeting as described in the title of the agenda item.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Possible issuance of not more than $21,000,000 of General Obligation Bonds.

 

Further action to be taken:

The bond election will be held on November 21, 2023.
