Description/Background:
Sandy City is purchasing the Richardson property located at 3380 East 9850 South. Salt Lake County has budgeted $1,000,000 in TRCC funds to go towards the purchase of this property. In exchange for funding from the County Sandy City has agreed to purchase and develop the Richardson Property for use as a public park and parking lot for Bells Canyon Trailhead. The Interlocal Coopertation Agreement details this transaction.
Fiscal Impact:
$1,000,000 in TRCC grant money from Salt Lake County
$1,335,830 from proceeds of a recent Water Revenue Bond
Further action to be taken:
After Council approval by resolution, Mayor Bradburn will sign the agreement with Salt Lake County. The County Parks and Recreaton Department will then issue the funds to Sandy City
