Description/Background:
Short term rentals are becoming increasingly popular and problematic within Sandy City. The issue is complex and requires a thorough examination of both policy and enforcement in order to achieve the best outcomes for residents. The attached memo includes a first attempt at this examination and provides a host of potential solutions to mitigate the issues brought on by short term rentals.
Further action to be taken:
This proposal may be brought back for a second reading during a future council meeting.
