Description/Background:
Utah Code 10-3-208 was recently amended to include an additional financial disclosure due before the general election. This ordinance would amend Sandy City Code to Match state code by changing the first disclosure due for the Primary and General election to be filed 28 days before election day as well as the required 7 day before election day.

Motion to approve Ordinance #23-07, an ordinance amending Title 2, "Elections" of the Sandy City Code by amending Section 2-1-3, "Contribution Disclosure Deadlines"; also providing a saving clause for the ordinance and an effective date.
