Description/Background:
The General Plan project team project will be presenting a draft vision statement, values, and key strategies for the project. Those things together are what the project team calls the decision-making framework. The decision-making framework is intended to direct the preparation of the tools associated with the General Plan and the application of those tools in the future to help guide growth and development in the City.
Y2 Analytics will be presenting a summary of the results from the second resident survey associated with the General Plan update. Christine Richman (GSBS) will present the draft decision-making framework that has developed from the survey results, together with other public input and the needs analysis.
The project team is currently working on next steps in the project. The discussion from this combined work session will help to refine the decision-making framework, which will then be applied to the preparation of other General Plan tools.
