Description/Background:
On August 11, 2026 the City Council adopted Resolution 26-78C providing for a special bond election to be held on November 3, 2026 for the purpose of submitting to the voters a proposition regarding the issuance of General Obligation Bonds to finance all or a portion of the costs to acquire, develop, construct, renovate, improve, preserve, equip, and furnish the former Crescent View Middle School Property.
A public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to (a) the issuance of the Bonds and (b) the potential economic impact that the improvements, facilities, or properties to be financed in whole or in part with proceeds of the Bonds will have on the private sector.
Fiscal Impact:
Up to $30 million in General Obligation Bonds
Further action to be taken:
A special bond election will be held on November 3, 2026
