Description/Background:
The Fiscal Year 2027 Tentative Budge envisions the consolidation of the Public Works and Public Utilities Departments into one Department. This process requires an amendment to Title 4 of the Sandy Municipal Code to combine the functions and duties of each department into one. The council adopted a final budget that envisions a merger, as such this ordinance will need to be enacted prior to July 1, 2026.
