Description/Background:
UFRA has awarded Instructor of the Year to Captain Jeff Jones. UFRA is the training and certification governing body for the state of Utah and an arm of UVU. Captain Jones has been with the Sandy Fire Department for 23 years and teaches at the UFRA academy part time. He is also one of the major contributors to the training that takes place in Sandy Fire. We are recognizing him at a Council meeting for his accomplishment.
