Description/Background:
Mountain West Ballet (MWB) is a non-profit, semi-professional ballet company. MWB is dedicated to sharing the beauty of classical ballet with dancers, the community, underserved groups and art education programs. MWB performs two ballets a year, and give every dancer who auditions the experience of dancing in a professional setting and wearing exquisite costumes. MWB holds auditions for all parts using a panel of judges, who utilize a points-based scoring. MWB benefits the community by offering affordable tickets. Tonight, MWB's presentation will include successes after COVID-19, MWB's contribution and impact on the community, financial facts and a huge thank you to Sandy City and the council for their support of the arts and MWB.
