Description/Background:
Utah Code 52-4-202(2)(a) requires a public body which holds regular meetings that are scheduled in advance over the course of a year to give public notice at least once each year of its annual meeting schedule. From time to time the council may amend that schedule as needed.
The amendments to the annual meeting schedule proposed in the attached resolution are as follows:
1. Adding a budget retreat to February 2, 2023.
2. Adding a regular meeting on May 30, 2023 (This meeting was cancelled on the original 2023 Annual Meeting Schedule as it is a 5th Tuesday).
3. Cancelling the May 16, 2023 Meeting for the Police Banquet (This meeting will be cancelled in lieu of the 5th Tuesday in May).
