Description/Background:

Gardner #2 project review and approval.  Due to COVID, design and therefore land use changes were necessary for the Gardner #2 project. As required by the Purchase / Sale Agreement, the RDA Board must approve any substantial changes to the design and plan of the project before it can proceed through the City approval process.  The developer, the Gardner Company, is presenting those changes in the updated plan.  Staff and the Administration have reviewed the revised plan and support and approve the changes to the plan.

Summit at the Cairns project review and approval .  Due to COVID, design and therefore land use changes were necessary for The Summit at The Cairns project. As required by the Purchase / Sale Agreement, the RDA Board must approve any substantial changes to the design and plan of the project before it can proceed through the City approval process.  The developer, Ron Raddon, is presenting those changes in the updated plan.  Staff and the Administration have reviewed the revised plan and support and approve the changes to the plan.

Resolution RD 21-02. A Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of Sandy City approving an Inter-local Cooperation Agreement with Sandy City, regarding City use and management of certain Agency-owned real estate.  After consultation with the RDA Attorney and the City Attorney’s Office, it was determined and advised that the City and the RDA enter into an interlocal agreement (ILA) for the management and use of RDA property by the City.  A property list is included in the ILA and includes properties such as houses rented to City employees as well as the Promenade.  Attached is the draft ILA for Board review and approval.
