Description/Background:
The purpose of this presentation is to present to the Council and inform them on how Sandy citizens feel about Parks, Recreation, and Trails in SAndy. This survey, along with our open houses and open houses and web page comments on the interactive map (https://sandypaceofprogress.org/parks-master-plan), will be used to formulate guidance that will be provided in the Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan for the next ten plus years.
It is anticipated that the Council will be receiving a draft of the updated master plan for consideration at the end of January 2024. Based on additional input we plan on seeking approval of the master plan in February 2024.
