Continued Public Hearing to consider the adoption of the FY 2026-27 Sandy City Budget. This item includes:
Resolutions 26-69C (Stroud), 26-70C (D'Sousa), 26-71C (Dekeyzer), and 26-72C (Christense/Nicholl) directing the incorporation of certain budget amendment proposals into the FY 2026-27 budget; and
Resolutions 26-61C and 25-62C of Sandy City, adopting a budget for Sandy City and the Alta Canyon Recreation District for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027; also establishing certain fees and charges in Sandy City for said fiscal year.

Description/Background:
Please review the attached resolutions. Please note, the finance team has updated Resolution 26-61C (Final budget adoption) to reflect proposed changes to the tentative form the administration, including accounting for the creation of the Communications Department.
This public hearing was opened on May 26, 2026 and continued to June 16, 2026. The Council may (1) again Continue the public hearing to a future date, or (2) close the public hearing. If the hearing is closed, the council may: (A) adopt the attached resolutions, including amendments, if any; or (B) take no action and adopt the resolutions during a future Council meeting. June 23, 2026 is the latest scheduled council meeting in which a final budget may be adopted.
