This item was heard on January 3, 2017 but no action was taken.
At the beginning of each calendar year the Council makes its appointments to various citizen committees. A resolution has been included under item 17-001 of the January 3, 2016 agenda to accomplish this task. However, on October 25, 2016 the Council directed staff to initiate a development code amendment to eliminate the Council liaison to the Planning Commission. There was also interest in reconsidering other Council appointments to various committees. Before new appointments are made for 2017, it is recommended that the Council discuss which, if any, committees no longer require a Council representative.

Adopt resolution appointing Council liaisons.
